English is a very vast and commonly used language, but let´s find out some interesting peculiarities of it.

Let´s begin with a very common phrase used in movies and in our daily routines. When we haven´t seen the person for a significant period of time we say “long time no see” but this phrase or sentence is grammatically incorrect in many ways, but this is because it is believed to be a literal translation of a Native American or Chinese phrase.
